Marbacka Bee Farm began the bee husbandry as a hobby year 1981. Following the changes in the agriculture as a whole, some 200 beehives were brought to the farm in 1992 and the professional bee farming started.

The Farm produces honey, beewaxcandles and naturally grown rye which is ground in the own mill.
The Finnish honey is of high quality due to the pure vegetation. Marbacka Bee Farm has totally 300 beehives where millions of bees gather the nektar from the nearby flower and rape fields.
